A prayer
Tomorrow it is projected to be 31 degrees Celsius (that's 88 for those of you in Farenheitland). I am expected to keep an entire class of 12 year-olds engaged from 8:30-2:30.
Help.
Help.
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

I'll add you to my prayers. It's supposed to hit 40 degrees Celsius (including the humidity) on Tuesday. Fred, who has severe issues with heat and can get heat stroke very easily is working in a non air conditioned shipping bay with giant pit mining machine parts. I'm praying he doesn't keel over.
Yikes. Best of luck with that!
OH, my!
Maybe you can do an art project to make beautiful (and useful!) fans! :-)
Drug them.
Ugg. I was so glad when my school got air conditioners. It was so hard to concentrate when it was so hot. Although, then we didn't get out early for hot days.
You should split the class into 3 groups. Have group number 1 fan you while group number 2 feeds you grapes.
Group number 3? Oh, they're to hunt down and kill any parents who complain.
